On a breezy, warm night during May of 2004, my girlfriend and I at the time were on the swings while the adults were in their PTA meeting. (Yes, I’m fully aware that I am in 4th grade at the time.) Maybe it was just a coincidence that there was a full moon that night, but I didn’t mind. Holding hands, swinging side by side, we looked at each other’s eyes for a while. Then, she asked me, “What does it feel like to ‘kiss’ or ‘be kissed’?” I answered, “I don’t know. I don’t know how to even do that or anything like that.” She replied, “Well, I’ve seen my aunt do it several times. I think I know how it goes. Just look deeply into my eyes and then close them!” Next thing you know, as my eyes closed shut, our lips pressed. It was ever so pleasant.
