Sonny picked me up at 8:30 to go bowling with Hanh, Richard, and Damian. Richmond and Thuy were there as well, except they were bowling in different lanes. We bowled for at least three hours. As we were bowling, they were calling off raffles for small prizes and a chance to win fifty dollars. We were picked twice for the raffles — once for a five dollar In-N-Out gift card, and another for THE chance to win fifty dollars! Damian, being the only good bowler who was eighteen, was chosen to bowl for a chance to win some moo-lah. He had to randomly select a card that told him what pins to knock down in order to win. The card he chose said, “You must knock down exactly eight pins with one ball to win.” He bowled and knocked down seven pins. (Nice try, Damian!) After getting a bit tired, we went to Tebo Tebo and ran into Leslie and her family. After buying a drink, Sonny drove me home. Happy late birthday, Hanh! Twas a wonderful way to end a day.
